ROVER CHALLENGE

ENGINEER WITH US,

ON AND BEYOND EARTH

International Rover Challenge (IRC) and International Rover Design Challenge (IRDC) are space robotics engineering competition by Space Robotics Society, which challenges university students to conceptualise, design, develop and operate astronaut-assistive next-gen Mars Rovers and perform specific missions in Mars simulated conditions.

The objective of the competition is to provide students with a real-world interdisciplinary engineering experience, combining practical engineering skills with soft skills, including business planning and project management.

IRC and IRDC are part of the prestigious World Rover League

UNPARALLELED EXPERIENCE

Unparalleled and comprehensive learning experience in technology, innovation and creativity.

IRC 2020 is one of the best experiences of my college life. I carry the lessons learned during IRC to this day.

Akash Chaudhary Project Kratos

IRC was a great opportunity for us to prove our project not only in the areas of space robotics and engineering, but also tested our logistic and management abilities. It required the best of our teamwork - a crucial factor in such an interdisciplinary endeavour.

Adam Zagrajek AGH Space Systems

A striking aspect of IRDC 2020 was the problem statement's proximity to real conditions on Mars which encouraged teams to learn more about the red planet.
